What Is the Sercel MaxiWave?
The Sercel MaxiWave is a digital multi-level downhole seismic array designed for large vertical seismic profiling (VSP) surveys, including 3D VSP and walkaway surveys. The system uses real-time telemetry and standard wireline deployment. The full MaxiWave system can work with up to 100 three-component levels, with a sample rate down to ¼ ms. Data acquisition, quality control and system management are handled by the Sercel WaveControl software on the WaveLab recorder.
