What Is the Sercel TMS-428?
The Sercel TMS-428 is a Test and Maintenance System for the field electronics of the Sercel 428XL seismic acquisition system. It is used for testing, troubleshooting, calibrating and repairing FDU units, and for testing and repairing LAUX-428 and LAUL-428. The system consists of a computer running TMS428 software, a TMU-428 interface unit and a multimeter. The TMU-428 is built around an LAUX-428 with dedicated software and a high-accuracy clock. Test results are displayed on the computer.
